Here is how you can help:
- Serve as an angel in beginner dance classes
- Assist in flier preparation/distribution
- Assist in office with e-mail/telephone responses
- Participate in community outreach programs for local and regional hospitals, schools, clubs,
organizations
- Sign-in students for classes/showcases
- Provide weekend housing for guest lecturers, adjudicators, ballroom dance coaches
- Motivational speaker about the physical, social and cognitive benefits of ballroom dancing
- Tutor students in ballroom dance styles and how each dance relates to the culture from
which it originated
- Teach music fundamentals, i.e. How math (beats per measure, counting) relates to music
and why ‘’music is the boss’’ in ballroom dancing
- Tutor students in dance syllabus vocabulary
