Tax Purposes

The fair market value of each ticket (the expense/cost per ticket) is $100. Each ticket holder shall receive a tax letter after the event detailing their exact tax exempt amount. Tax deductions sent at year’s end are based on information listed below.

A. Number tickets purchased.

B. Level of ticket purchases, i.e the tax deductible amount for one $150 ticket is $50.

C. Dutch Auction donations 100% tax deductible. (not applicable this year)

D. Individual or company donations prior to event are 100% tax deductible.

E. Amount each individual has donated over a 12 month period.

BDASL organizes an annual dance benefit to raise money for our signature programs, which includes our senior programs and our scholarships.
